I thought for sure there would be a riot: the city's pro soccer and hockey teams took on Toronto rivals on the same day. Fortunately there was only a small fire at the soccer game. Of course we had the arena covered and have pics and video from the Montreal Impact soccer game.

Don't get too close to the action. When Montreal scores, you could start on fire! These are still shots from video on the next page. My fave moment: the security guard running for cover. Thanks for keeping us safe!

With the team's usual stadium undergoing construction, the temporary home was nearly full as families and wild soccer fans screamed, chanted and cheered for their team. In the end, Montreal defeated Toronto (and in hockey, too).
